This summers hottest make-up trends

Lord & Berry Expert Make-up Artist Elkie Phillips explains how blushing brides can create the hottest make-up trends for the summer season.  Tight-lining

Tight-lining is a way of applying eyeliner so close to your lashes it gives the illusion of naturally thick and dark lashes. This especially useful for people with less lashes than most or to give that extra dimension to an everyday look.  To achieve this look I recommend a good waterproof pencil eyeliner such as Lord & Berry Smudgeproof eyeliner in Black and also a deep pigmented Kohl eyeliner such as Lord & Berrys Couture Kajal pencil eyeliner. 

To apply, simply lift your upper lid with your index finger, pulling the eyelid up wards. Looking down into your mirror apply your newly sharpened Smudgeproof liner in between your natural lashes. Apply by almost dotting the eyeliner in between your lashes. Repeat on both sides. Be careful not to go above the lash line onto eyelid. Then using the Couture Kajal pencil, lift the eyelid slightly more so you can apply the liner to the upper waterline. Apply lashings of Lord & Berry Scuba Extreme mascara to finish and there you have it "tight-ligning", giving you that dense lash look!

Loaded Lashes

Yes! 4 day old lashes are back, just keep adding mascara! We saw designer  Eudon Choi sending their models down the runway with jet black heavy mascara,  pinched together lashes to over emphasise the look. This is an easy look to achieve. I recommend using Lord & Berry Scuba Extreme Mascara for its super waterproof and jet black formula. Apply a layer of mascara on top and bottom lashes, let it nearly dry and then apply another layer. Pinch the lashes together so they stick together and become claw like . . . .. There you have it, finished look!

Peach Lid

We saw a lot of peach and nude eyelids for A/W which so easy to apply and is a great every day look. As seen on Victoria Beckhams models, this is best worn with a clean nude skin. To prep the skin iwould use Lord and Berry Cream Foundation for a medium coverage and silky texture. On the lids lightly pat Lord & Berry Seta eyeshadow in Cardinal or try using a peach coloured blush on the lids as well such as Lord & Berry Blush in Peony or Honey

Red Lips

Every shade of red and orange was seen on the catwalks. Everyone can wear a red lip, you just have to find the

right shade for your skin tone. So try, try and try again, you will find one! My personal favourite colours are Lord & Berry vogue matte lipstick in Mandarino and for a softer more "bitten lip" look i like Twistick Sheer Lipstick in Rock n' Rose by Lord & Berry.
