She is a judge for the Wedding Industry Awards, recognising and rewarding excellence in the wedding industry. She was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2014.
“I have been designing with flowers for nearly thirty years. Over that time I have had the pleasure to work on so many gorgeous and diverse weddings with brides and grooms from all over the world. Each one is very special to me and I love the journey of getting to know a couple, and then over a period of time building up a vision of how they want their special celebration to be. The intensity of the relationship often endures beyond the big day, and I have been fortunate to stay in touch and sometimes become life-long friends with my wedding clients.
Weddings are one of the reasons I love my job. What could be better than turning up to a venue with a van load of beautiful flowers and enhancing a wonderful celebration?”
Paula’s latest book Paula Pryke’s Wedding Flowers is out now, published by Jacqui Small. www.jacquismallpub.com.
