A new breed of wedding fair is coming this weekend

Taking place at Stanford Hall, a stunning Grade 1 listed William & Mary House in the heart of the Midlands on 11 and 12 May 2019, The Unconventional Wedding Festival is a new breed of wedding fair designed to cater for the latest trends in the wedding industry.

Unconventional in every sense of the word, The Unconventional Wedding Festival is aimed at couples who don’t want their wedding to be the same as everyone else’s and would rather stand out and be a flamingo amongst a flock of pigeons.

With a growing number of couples looking for ways to add their own unique touches to their wedding and create something that truly reflects their personalities, we have created a wedding fair with a difference which aims to not only inspire the modern couple and connect them with suppliers who can help them make their dream wedding a reality, but also have a lot of fun in the process.

Rather than walking into a room full of stands, exchanging awkward pleasantries with each exhibitor as you look at their stand and trying to have shouted conversations above the sound of the entertainment set, Festival goers will be able to spend the day wandering around themed Zones, styled to feel like you’re walking into a real wedding.

What to expect from the wedding fair

From Sci-Fi to Vintage, Urban to Fairytale, and much more, each of our themed Zones will showcase the range of suppliers you’ll need to create your own wedding, from venues and marquee providers to bridalwear and accessories, and everything in-between.

Festival goers will be able to witness (mock) wedding ceremonies, wander around the reception venue, sample the delights on offer from the Food and Drink vendors, and enjoy the wide range of entertainment on offer across the site. And you will be able to book to meet suppliers you are interested in connecting with in one of our comfy consultation areas.

As well as the themed Zones, there will be plenty of other exciting things going on across the Festival site too.

Our Pop Up Hotel, will be showcasing the variety of temporary accommodation options available to couples looking to extend their wedding festivities, or find a fun hen party idea.

The Style Zone allows Festival goers a closer look at the latest in alternative wedding fashion. You will be able to browse the outfits and accessories, try things on and see first-hand the work and talent that goes into crafting these exquisite creations.

You will also be able to indulge in one of our amazing Experiences, learn different ways you can add little personal touches to your wedding at one of our demonstrations, and get practical wedding planning tips and advice from the experts at the workshops available across the weekend.

And for those wanting to make the day extra special, you can upgrade to our VIP experience, which includes VIP parking, fast track entry, exclusive access to our VIP Zone where you’ll be able to kick back in comfort and enjoy a chilled glass of bubbly, lunch vouchers so you can choose what you want to eat from the amazing vendors across the site, and a luxury Goody Bag.

Stanford Hall provides the perfect backdrop for The Unconventional Wedding Festival. Nestled on the banks of the River Avon and with 700 acres of ancient parkland, Stanford Hall offers a beautiful setting with plenty of space to showcase the 250+ suppliers who will be exhibiting.

For those wanting to see inside the Hall, we have the Stanford Hall Experience where Festival goers will be able to step back in time and explore the delights of our Downton Abbey style Weekend House Party Wedding, the perfect showcase for Stanford Hall’s own unique weekend wedding offering. As part of the Experience you’ll also be able to sample some of the selection of mouthwatering meats reared on the Estate and their organically grown vegetables, washed down with a chilled glass of champagne.

Tickets are now on sale for the new breed of wedding fair at www.unconventionalweddingfestival.co.uk. Buy your tickets before 30 November 2018 and get your standard tickets at the early bird price of £12.50 (normally £15.00).
