Newton Hall, near Alnwick, has scooped the winning title of North East’s Wedding Venue of the Year.
The venue received the award at the North of England Wedding Awards, held at York Racecourse, in association with Wedding Guide UK.
The awards are the North East and Yorkshire’s most prestigious awards for client service excellence. They recognise the businesses which go the extra mile for their customers and provide outstanding service.
Entrants are judged on professional standards and customer reviews such as service excellence, product quality, value for money and outstanding commitment.
Pamela Davison, Head of Weddings at Newton Hall commented; “We are thrilled with Newton Hall’s continued success at wedding industry awards, after being named Wedding Guide’s Best Wedding venue 2016 at the North East Wedding Awards.
“Winning the much sought-after award for the North East’s Best Wedding venue is yet another great achievement by the team at Newton Hall, as well as a testament to the outstanding levels of customer service we pride themselves on, providing to each and every couple.
“Public vote was a huge part of Newton Hall winning this prestigious prize and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the countless testimonials and nominations from the hundreds of past brides and grooms, eager to share their love of the fantastical venue.”
Venue owner, Duncan Fisher said: “Newton Hall; Bold, Romantic and Fantastical...turned all that is uncool about the traditional country house and replaced it with fun and lots of imagination. Unique and absolutely one of a kind, Newton Hall is a sneaky hideaway offering seriously extravagant accommodation in a big, gorgeous Northumberland country manor by the sea.”
