The romance in Disney movies is so heart-warming and there are few better things to make us feel happy on the inside. Disney couples don’t often face the problems we face in real life and their love just seems to always work out! If only we all had it that easy. The love of Maid Marian and Robin Hood was amazing, and they were from two very different worlds. They knew each other as young kids but it was when Robin Hood tried to rob Maid Marian as she rode through Sherwood Forest with her guards that they really connected! Robin Hood was impressed that Maid Marian challenged the robbers and their love grew from there.
Cinderella and Prince Charming were another incredible Disney couple. The king became frustrated that the Prince had not yet found a wife so he arranged a ball with all the eligible maidens in the kingdom, but it was a shy Cinderella who caught attention and the two began to waltz.
Ariel and Eric are many people’s favourite couple as there is just something so special about their connection. They first meet when Ariel rescues Eric from a ship and from there their love begins to blossom.
Roger and Anita were another amazing couple and were set up by their dogs. They had a beautifully understated wedding set in an elegant chapel at sunset.
Of course, not all couples need to get married and there are really romantic moments in Disney movies that touched our heart. For example, the love Nala and Simba had for each other was amazing and the moment they nuzzled each other is when we knew how much they meant to each other.
One of the most famous Disney couples was lady and tramp and the spaghetti and meatball dinner they had at Tony’s Restaurant is a truly classic Disney moment. Lady and Tramp were another couple who came from very different walks of life but found a special connection.
