Individuals who attend the Outcomes with Learning (OWL) Town Farm Workshop in Sixpenny Handley are putting the finishing touches to an order for 30 ceramic ‘wedding favours’.

The heart-shaped gifts will have pride of place on guests’ tables at the nuptials of Carole Edmond and husband-to-be Tim in Milborne Port on July 22.

Carole is the managing director of Regard, the UK’s fourth biggest private provider of supported living and residential services, who run the workshops.

The ‘unplugged’ wedding trend gains pace with up to a third of couples putting a social media ban over their big day

Couples can perfect their wedding social media strategy at an interactive workshop on 19 July at Sheraton Grand London Park Lane.

London, June 2017: Sheraton Grand London Park Lane surveyed the B.LOVED bridal community to understand attitudes towards social media and weddings in 2017 and found that more than 1 in 3 brides are opting for an unplugged wedding this year, following in the footsteps of Pippa Middleton, banning phones and other digital devices during the ceremony or reception. Half of respondents cited their guests missing key moments from the big day because they are on their phone as being the main reason for enforcing the ban.
