Hawkstone Hall Set To Become One Of The UK's Most Prestigious Wedding Venues

Hawkstone Hall, a magnificent Grade I listed 18th Century mansion, will open in summer 2018. Anticipation is building ahead of its launch, as the venue is set to become one of the most sought after wedding venues in the UK.

 

The country estate has been purchased by The Distinctly Hospitable Group, making them the fourth owner in the property’s 550 year history. A sympathetic refurbishment is currently being planned to breathe new life into the spectacular Georgian property.

The award-winning Northumberland Hotel, Matfen Hall hotel, golf and spa, has announced a £250,000 refurbishment of its wedding spaces as part of the next chapter in its history.

The significant investment will transform the rooms in the East Wing including the Great Hall, Terrace Room and Sir Edward’s Bar, to create luxurious surroundings highlighting the original features of this historic venue.

Maften Hall have employed North East interior designers and architects, Space ID, to manage the project due to their shared aesthetic vision and proven track record with other leading UK hotels.

The new designs couple the impressive, historic features of the hotel with luxurious, modern features to create a romantic and sumptuous atmosphere.
